The Keystone State’s online gambling industry is among the most anticipated ones in the country and the countdown for its launch began months ago. Well, as it draws closer, more interesting developments continue to be made. One of the most recent announcements in this regard was made by Parx Casino and pertains to the casino operator’s plans to begin offering online gambling services on July 15 which is the day that was set for the launch of the state’s online gambling industry by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. This announcement was made in a very interesting manner, to say the least – instead of going the corporate statement route or using PGCB intel, the casino operator opted to make the announcement through an elaborate online advertisement.
Parx Casino already boasts of being the dominant retail casino operation in the state. In fact, not only does it bring in the highest annual revenue but it also happens to be the largest facility. That said, it is expected that the online gaming products that it will unveil on July 15 will just be as good as what its land-based counterpart has had to offer its customers.
What to Expect
Already, Parx Casino has launched a digital sportsbook which has been performing quite well despite being only a few weeks old. Once the online gambling segment goes live on July 15, there is a likelihood that the casino operator will merge all the forms of online gaming into a single unified application. For the time being, each of the online gaming platforms will be using its own online gaming platform. Some of the games that will be on offer at the online casino include:
- Slots
- Blackjack
- Roulette
- Video poker
- Craps
- Baccarat
- Live dealer games
Online slots are set to be a huge part of the forthcoming online casino which is a very good thing especially considering the exceptional performance of slot machines in Pennsylvania.
“Coming soon will be hundreds of online slots. We’ll have a full array of classic slots, video slots, and progressive jackpot slots. We’ll also have bonus rounds, free spins, and plenty more,” reads a portion of the Parx Casino statement.
For the online gambling venture, Parx Casino has inked a partnership deal with GAN which is known for powering a number of social and real-money sites. GAN is already responsible for Parx Casino’s online sports betting which, as mentioned earlier, has been live for the past few weeks.
