PokerStars, the only provider of online poker games in Pennsylvania, has announced a second Championship of Online Poker in the Keystone State. The guaranteed prize pool is expected to reach $2 million and further details are to be released soon, ahead of the September 19 start date.

Pennsylvania Will Get a Second PACOOP Starting on September 19

Pennsylvania may only have PokerStars as the main supplier of online poker games, but this is not too bad. Now, PokerStars PA is living up to its responsibilities and has announced the dates for the Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker (PACOOP).

The second event is coming back on September 19 and it will run for two weeks through October 5. Sure, the event is a little ahead of schedule, but demand for online poker in the state has been climbing up steadily.

Based on preliminary estimates, PACOOP should collect the respectable $2 million in prize money and give online poker traffic in the Keystone State another boost. The first event featured prize money soaring over $1.55 million, a respectable sum to start with.

In last year’s event we saw over 12,000 players register across 50 tournaments and participate in the two-week tournament flurry held between November 30, 2019 and December 16, 2019.

Details about the event are coming and with that, New Jersey players can expect to enjoy a similar event, i.e. the New Jersey Championship of Online Poker (NJCOOP). At the time of reporting, though, there was no mention of a new COOP online festival for the Garden State.

Don’t Miss the Vault Promotion Available for both PokerStars NJ and PokerStars PA

While PokerStars is preparing a new tournament for Pennsylvania players, The Vault Promotion is running in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with a total of $200,000 in cash prizes.

All players who want to benefit from the promo will have to opt in and have a chance to earn special Chests designed for the promotion or real money right away. Each Chest has a 3-digit combination which you can use to unlock another, special Chest.

Once you have the three digits of a chest, you will be open the Special Chest and enjoy a reward that will be calculated based on your current Stars Rewards level. If you get three combinations entered successfully, you will get into The Vault and have the opportunity to unlock prizes up to $15,000.
