If you’re a poker player who also enjoys dabbling about on Twitch, then you could earn yourself a Platinum Pass. PokerStars and Twitch have just launched a new promotion that will give two lucky players the chance to play at the PokerStars Players’ Championship next year in Barcelona.

Most of PokerStars Platinum Passes are awarded to those who take part in Road to PSPC events. They all involve beating out the competition in the exciting game of skill that is poker – but, things are a little bit different this time around.

To enter this competition, you just have to be active on Twitch. You’ll have to watch 24 hours of the PokerStars Twitch channel (not in a row), and then create 10 hours of your own content. Then, two winners will be picked.

The judges for the competition are Georgina “GJ Reggie” James and Mason “PyeFace” Pye, two PokerStars Twitch Ambassadors. They will be making their decision on December 23, and they will be taking a good, hard look at the quality of the content that is produced. There are a number of criteria, and they are looking for entries that are innovative and creative.

If you’re one of the two winners, you’ll receive a Platinum Pass, which is worth over $30000. This will include entry into the PSPC in Barcelona next year, along with travel expenses, accommodation and some spending money. You’ll also receive a PC made for gaming and a $1000 deposit into your PokerStars account.

No matter where you live, if you’re a PokerStars player, you’ll be able to take part in this event. PokerStars Europe, UK, New Jersey and Pennsylvania players will be able to vie for the chance to win Platinum Passes by getting active on Twitch.

This is just the beginning of PokerStars’ relationship with Twitch. The two brands are both incredibly innovative in their fields, so we can’t wait to see what they come up with for poker players. You’ll be able to stream the EPT in Prague from PokerStars’ Twitch channel, and there will be plenty of other exciting collaborations between the too brands soon.
