Unibet is the latest online gambling operator to come to Pennsylvania. The site had its soft launch last week and is now ready to become fully available to players across the state.

Kindred Group, which owns Unibet, announced its partnership with the Mohegan Sun Pocono in January 2019. However, it wasn’t until September that they made their first official move together when Kindred launched a Unibet-branded sportsbook at the Mohegan Sun.

The venue has already experienced plenty of success in the Pennsylvanian gambling market. Since it opened, the sportsbook saw players place $2 million in wagers. So, it was certainly a wise decision to launch the Unibet online sportsbook in Pennsylvania as soon as possible.

Now, there are 10 land-based sportsbooks and seven which operate online in Pennsylvania. Online operators include FanDuel, DraftKings, SugarHouse, Parx and FoxBet.

While the market might seem saturated with online betting operators, there is plenty of demand. So, it’s unlikely that competition will be particularly steep. In September alone, sportsbooks across the state took in more than $194.5 million in wagers and generated $19 million in revenue. Nearly $160 million of that those wagers were taken online, so Unibet is surely going to see plenty of activity now that’s taken its operations online in Pennsylvania.

“We’re thrilled to introduce to our customers an opportunity to place bets and game online within the state borders. Our sportsbook lounge is a highly engaging and joyful experience on-premises and Kindred Group are able to extend that experience online through our strategic partnership,” said Aviram Alroy, Vice President of Interactive Gaming at Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment.

Now that Unibet’s online casino and sportsbook are officially live, players will be able to benefit from great promotions. There are two options available: one for casino players and one for punters.

Players who choose the sportsbetting package will receive two free $10 wagers. After making their first deposit and at least one $10 bet, players will also be able to place a risk-free bet worth up to $250; this means that if the bet loses, the player will receive a refund. If not, then they’ll receive their winnings as bonus cash.

Then, for players who would prefer to play at the casino, there is a $10 no deposit bonus available with a wager requirement of just 3x. They will also be available to claim a 100% first deposit match bonus up to $500. The wagering requirements for this are just 10x when used on casino games.
