The Golden Nugget Grand Poker Series is considered to be one of the under-radar annual summer poker gems. The series just recently released its schedule for the year 2018 and poker enthusiasts can start preparing for a great year ahead.

2018’s Golden Nugget Grand Poker Series is set to run from ay 29th through to July 3rd. The series will feature the beloved usual assortment of daily and nightly events that are typical of the Grand Poker Series schedule. Players can also look forward to the renowned Grand Poker Series $570 Main Event that, like always, will be worth a $500K guarantee – this particular event will further feature three whole starting days, which is, from June 29th to June 30th this year with the finale set for July 1st.

The Grand Poker Series Main Event has always been a major highlight of for the Golden Nugget Grand Poker Series drawing in over 1,500 players in 2016 and 2,000 players in 2017. During both of those years the event awarded $100,000 to the winner despite deals being made in both cases – in fact, five players each raked in nearly $60,000 in 2017.

The Golden Nugget tournaments are popular attractions among players thanks to their low buy-ins and the recreational-heavy fields which appeal mostly to poker players with shorter bankrolls or those who simply love the thrills of softer gaming events. In addition to that, the location, Fremont Street, offers a whole different experience of Las Vegas.
